No. Dive Ledger offers a full guest mode where you can log dives, track gear, and use all features without creating an account. If you want cloud sync and backup, you can optionally sign up at any time.
Yes. Dive Ledger is built offline-first, so your dive logs are stored locally on your device and fully accessible without internet. Cloud sync is optional and runs in the background when connectivity is available.
Yes. Dive Ledger supports UDDF (Universal Dive Data Format) import, which is compatible with most dive computers and desktop dive log software. Import your entire dive history in seconds through Settings.
Dive Ledger includes a database of 170 marine life species (fish, sharks, rays, turtles, invertebrates) and 205 corals, sponges, and anemones, each with reference photos. Log your sightings directly from the species database and track your encounters over time.
Your data is stored locally on your device first. When cloud sync is enabled, photos are encrypted on-device before upload, and all data is encrypted in transit. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Yes. Dive Ledger supports UDDF export, the universal standard for dive log data. Export your complete dive history and import it into any compatible platform.
Yes. Dive Ledger has a friend system that lets you search for other divers by email. You can also add manual buddy contacts to link to your dive logs.
Dive Ledger tracks 9 equipment types: wetsuit/drysuit, BCD, regulator, dive computer, fins, mask, tank, weights, and other. Set defaults so your gear is pre-filled for every new dive.
Dive Ledger supports 10 specialized dive types: Cave, Drift, Ice, Night, Wall, Wreck, Shore, Boat, Deep, and Reef. Each dive can be tagged with its type for better organization and filtering.
Yes. Dive Ledger can generate shareable image cards from your dive details. Share your dive stats, depth profile, and location as a visual card on Instagram, WhatsApp, or any social platform.
SAC (Surface Air Consumption) rate measures how much air you breathe per minute at the surface. Dive Ledger automatically calculates your average SAC rate across all logged dives using tank size, pressure drop, depth, and duration.
Yes. Dive Ledger includes a sample dive that demonstrates all features: depth profile, marine life sightings, gear, and more. Explore the full app in guest mode with no sign-up required.
Dive Ledger is launching on iOS first. Android support is planned for a future release.
